강이 바다를 만나면?

a river trembles with fear.

She looks back at the path she has traveled,

from the peaks of the mountains,

the long winding road crossing forests and villages.

And in front of her,

she sees an ocean so vast,

that to enter

there seems nothing more than to disappear forever.

But there is no other way.

The river can not go back.

​

Nobody can go back.

To go back is impossible in existence.

​

The river needs to take the risk

of entering the ocean

because only then will fear disappear,

because that’s where the river will know

it’s not about disappearing into the ocean,

but of becoming the ocean.

바다에 들어가기 전의

강은 두려움에 떨고 있다고 하네요.

​

그녀는 산봉우리에서,

숲과 마을을 가로지르는 길고 구불구불한 길,

자신이 걸어온 길을 되돌아본다.

​

그리고 그녀 앞에 펼쳐진

들어가는 것, 영원히 사라지는 것 외에는

아무것도 없는 것 같은 너무나 넓은 바다를 바라본다.

​

그러나 강물은 돌아갈 다른 방법은 없다.

​

누구도 돌아갈 수 없다.

돌아가는 존재 자체가 불가능하다.

​

강은 바다에 뛰어드는 위험을 감수해야 한다

그래야만 두려움이 사라질 것이기 때문입니다.

왜냐면 강이 바다로 뛰어들 때

바다 속으로 사라지는 것이 아니라

바다가 된다는 사실을 깨달을 것이기에
